Michael Dominguez is Chief Sales Officer for MGM Resorts International providing oversight of sales strategies in the MICE and transient segments, including industry relations, diversity sales and MGM Resorts Events & Production Services. Michael is actively involved in leadership roles in the Meetings and Events Industry and currently serves as a Past Chairman on the International Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International.

Brett Sterenson
Brett brings twenty years of supplier side experience both from the hotel side and the last 11 years as a small business owner. Brett worked in government sales for both Millennium Hotels and Resorts out of Boston and Kimpton Hotels out of Washington, DC. His firm, Hotel Lobbyists, was founded in April 2007. He's also a seventeen year member of SGMP with five years on the local National Capital Board, three years on the Gilmer Institute of Learning, and fresh off a four year term on the National Board of Directors. With more time for himself now, Brett speaks at industry chapter and national events as well as CVB sponsored educational days. He is married with a 5yr old son and 3yr old daughter.
Hotel Lobbyists is a third party site selection organization specializing in government meetings. Founded in 2007, the firm has placed nearly 1,900 total meetings with room revenue exceeding $28M. Meetings have been placed in all 50 states, 7 foreign countries, and on 4 continents.

Brandi has over 20 years of hospitality experience planning meetings and events at hotels, theme parks and convention centers. Working with a wide variety of clients through the years she has used her creativity to create flawless meetings and events for thousands of attendees.

Karina has over 20 years of experience in the meetings industry as a business incubator. Her in-depth knowledge of successful business management, accounting and marketing brings a competitive advantage in meeting planning implementation. Karina has executed events in exotic destinations in London, Monaco and Berlin to name a few. Karina holds a Master's in Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from University of Miami, with a specialization degree in Management and she earned her ADME professional meeting certification as well.
Karina’s love for the creative aspect of event planning and in-depth knowledge of trendy venues in Miami, New York, Chicago and European cities have given her a unique spark when creating events.
Lauren Goldberg
Lauren's career in the events industry began in 2001 in Virginia Beach, VA where she started working with local clubs and restaurants designing and producing events. In 2010, she relocated to South Florida and served as the Director of Sales for the So Cool Events team. This eye-opening opportunity in Lauren’s career helped to build lasting industry relationships and inspired her standards of excellence.
From 2014 to 2015, Lauren traveled the world creating amazing experiences with some of the finest in the corporate planning world, working as a Corporate Sales Manager for Worldwide Destination Management.
Continuing to follow her passions led her to New York City, where she is currently the Northeast Regional Sales Manager for AFR. Lauren is on a never-ending quest to bring value to each new engagement with her contagious enthusiasm working with an amazing team!
Katia is a Client Coordinator at Joy Wallace Catering and Design. Katia has earned her Master's Degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. Her hospitality experience in Singapore, Germany, Turkey, Italy and US gives her an international levele understanding of both corporate and social events.
Continuing to follow her passion and satisfying her thirst for knowledge. Katia is constantly on the lookout for new trends and unique ideas that can be used to wow her clients and guests.
