How did you get your start in the industry?
My first job was working in the Dean’s Office at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School and I was responsible for booking a conference room. I became friendly with the person responsible for university wide events and eventually went to work for her and the rest is history! I’ve been planning events ever since.

How many years have you been in the industry?
25+ years

What is your favorite thing about our industry?
I love planning conferences and seeing them through. It is always a great feeling when the conferences are finished successfully.

What is the best career advice you’ve received?
Never stop learning!

What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had?
There have been quite a few. My most memorable has to be the continuing medical education conference I did in Cuba. It was an experience of a lifetime.

If you were not in this industry, what would you be doing right now?
Probably involved in politics.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Middletown, NJ

If you could live anywhere on this planet and take everything that you love with you, where would you choose to live?
On the beach in Emerald Isle, North Carolina

Describe your perfect day off?
Relaxing on the beach, reading a book!

What do you love about MPI NJ?
Networking, learning from industry leaders.  I joined the Education Committee last year and am lucky to work with a great group of colleagues!  I enjoy our bi-weekly meetings where we plan great education sessions and have some fun too!
