How did you get your start in the industry?
I started working in a small catering hall after I graduated booking day meetings. Their business increased so much that they asked me to be a sales manager.

How many years have you been in the industry?
Over 25.

What is your favorite thing about our industry?
All the relationships I have made and the great places I got to see that I probably wouldn’t have seen in a different industry.

What is the best career advice you’ve received?
Honesty, trust and transparency is always better than just making a sale.

What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had?
My dueling piano event when I was at Loews Hotels. Most of all I love my fashion events, Style in the City with MGM RESORTS. We worked with Dress for Success and clients had to donate an old suit in exchange for a Saks gift card that we offered as a gift. The second year that same event was in October during breast cancer awareness month, and the store actually donated 10% of any purchases that evening to donate to breast cancer.  

If you were not in this industry, what would you be doing right now?
Probably an interior decorator. All of my friends ask me to help them decorate their houses! It's fun for me.

The Handmaid's Tale!

If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why?
My Maltese dog Gucci! She is loved and spoiled.

My husband calls me relentless! When I want something, I don’t give up.

Pretty Woman

What do you love about MPI NJ?
It feels like home!  I always know someone!  It is having resources and people to call on if you need help with anything.
