How did you get your start in the industry?
I stumbled upon my prior job as a Strategic Meeting Planner in the pharmaceutical industry. I was a Nutritionist and worked with clients one on one to educate them on healthy nutrition. A parent at my son’s school, whom I knew from drop off, said her company was hiring and suggested I apply. I was not looking for a job, but I told myself to investigate it. I applied and was hired. Having the opportunity to coordinate the logistics, plan all the details and develop solutions that solve business needs, connect people, and expand organizational goals is why I love what I do.

What is the best career advice you’ve received?
There is always room to advance in this career and industry.

What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had?
I planned an event with a Murder Mystery Team Building Theme. The food planned was suspect steak, killer kebabs, & death by chocolate. The mystery team had a great spokesman dressed in black & white clothing with a red bow tie, and the questions asked were all in mystery form. The winner had to guess who the murderer was. The winner won a trophy & gift card. This was done in a large ballroom with mystery-inspired music & decorations.

Union, New Jersey

What is your favorite city to travel to and why?
Paris, France-It always leaves a great impression with the delicious French Food, beautiful Paris Fashion, & magnificent architecture.

If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why?
A butterfly because they help flowers pollinate and provide a food source for other animals. They help fruits, vegetables, and flowers produce new seeds. (I love helping people)
