Upjohn Institute for Employment Research who will provide insights on Michigan’s Path to Recovery. Tickets start at $20 for students and $40 for member-suppliers.

SPEAKERS

Kelli Adams  – Acts as the ERN Director with the W.E. Upjohn Institute and the Center for Workforce Innovation and Solutions.  Kelli has worked in numerous roles within the organization beginning her time as an ERN Success Coach.  She has 20+ years’ experience in Non-profit work where many of those years were spent as the Director of HR at a Women, Children and Families homeless Shelter in Flint, MI.  Kelli has also spent time working with Social Impact and Philanthropy before relocating to Kalamazoo where she has since spent six years with the Upjohn Institute.

Ben Damerow - Ben's responsibilities include planning, program development, fiscal management, information systems, monitoring and evaluation for federal, state and locally funded employment and training programs in Branch, Calhoun, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties.

He serves as a member of the Great Lakes Employment and Training Association (as Michigan representative); Co-Chair of the Battle Creek Vision Workforce Development Action Team, member of the Battle Creek Vision Steering Committee, member of Shared Prosperity Kalamazoo Steering Committee and volunteer with Battle Creek/Kalamazoo United Way.  Be most recently served as Chair fo the Michigan Works Network Leadership Council for the past four years.   He has 19 years of experience with the Center for Workforce Innovation and Solutions at the Upjohn Institute.
