Nominations OPEN!

Dear MPI MI Chapter member,

 MPI Michigan Chapter members from across our Great Lakes state, are celebrating the spirit of leadership, impact and innovation on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Celebration! in Novi MI. 

Award recipients are nominated annually by our chapter members and final selections are made by an esteemed group of chapters leaders.

 We know everyone is busy, so we have streamlined the form to make it super easy to complete!

 For all nominations, please include your nominee's name and place of employment, along with examples of how they exemplify the criteria for the award.

 General Eligibility Criteria: (applicable to all awards)

• Event/Program Date: The 2023-2024 fiscal year dates from July 1, 2023 – December 31. 2024. All events and programs must have occurred within these dates to be eligible for an award.
• MPI Michigan Chapter Member: The nominated entity (organization, individual, etc.) must have representation in MPI Michigan Chapter and be a current member of MPI Michigan Chapter in good standing.

2023-2024 AWARDS:

Innovative Planner of the Year
Awarded to an MPI MI Chapter member who showcased innovation of planning and successful execution of a meeting or event in the last year.

Innovative Venue of the Year
Awarded to a venue that creatively utilized their space for a meeting and/or event.

Kristina Kauffman Industry Cheerleader Award
Awarded to an MPI MI Chapter member who displayed their support of the meeting and event industry and is a positive influence through their work and lifestyle.

Maryellen Jansen Education Leadership Award
Awarded to an MPI MI Chapter member who pursued higher excellence through designations, certifications, education and/or chapter leadership.

Rising Star Award
Awarded to an MPI MI Chapter member with five or fewer years of professional experience in the meeting and event industry who has shown exemplary leadership and contributions in their tenure.

Deadline for nominations is November 1, 2024.
