Looming severe weather, loss of a keynote speaker, an injured attendee, a drunken board member arrested…  These situations happen and it is time to be prepared!

Join us for an interactive session to see how you respond in these situations.  Learn how to handle crisis and be prepared for these disruptions and move your meetings forward.

Our presenter will be Tara Liaschenko, CMM who is the CEO of The Link Events in Florida.  Tara will help us work together on this interactive tabletop exercise. 

With over 20 years of planning experience, Tara Liaschenko, CMM is an award-winning professional who has earned an impeccable reputation for creativity and excellence in the event and meeting planning industry.  Mrs. Liaschenko is the Founder and Creative Executive Officer of The Link Event Professionals, Inc., a global company based in St. Petersburg, Florida dedicated to planning services covering all aspects of meetings and events.

 An accomplished facilitator and speaker, Mrs. Liaschenko has executed board, staff, and client retreats for associations, corporations and non-profit organizations.  An active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), she brings her knowledge of the industry and the organization she has acquired from her work through her service.  She has served the Tampa Bay Area Chapter Board in numerous roles including, Professional Development,  V.P. of Education, V.P. of Membership and Chapter President. 

Expanding her commitment to MPI, she has served on a global level for the following:

She has facilitated board retreats, transition meetings and chapter monthly programs with over 40 Chapters in addition to numerous Chapter Business Summits (U.S. and Canada) and Chapter Leader Forums.  She is proud to have received the MPI RISE Award for Member of the Year in 2015.  Mrs. Liaschenko maintains her excitement and enthusiasm to continue to partner and mentor MPI Chapters and Chapter Leaders to growth and success.
