Dear MPI Michigan Chapter Members,
As 2024 races by, I’m thrilled to reflect on the significant strides we’ve made towards our chapter’s goals. This year, our leadership team is committed to "getting back to basics," reinforcing the very elements that make the MPI Michigan Chapter exceptional. We've already seen remarkable progress in rebuilding our chapter post-pandemic, with an encouraging increase in both membership and active participation.
Our focus this year is on strengthening connections, delivering meaningful education, demonstrating clear ROI to our strategic partners, and continuing to grow our membership. The incoming leaders are dedicated to continuous improvement, ensuring that the connections and engagement that define MPI Michigan remain strong and vibrant. Our board leaders, who generously volunteer their time, are supported by organizations that share our passion for this industry, and we are incredibly grateful for their commitment.
The education team has been hard at work, meeting frequently to plan and address the most pressing educational needs in today’s meetings climate. They have conducted site visits, brainstormed speaker ideas, and streamlined our internal processes.
The finance team has been equally industrious, launching an online store for partnership renewals and exploring innovative ways to demonstrate ROI to our partners. This new platform allowed us to reach a broader audience and attract potential partners. They are also working diligently to enhance our fulfillment processes, recognizing that our strategic partners and event sponsors are vital to our chapter’s continued success.
Our membership team is actively identifying potential new members, understanding that our industry has experienced significant changes. While some have left, there are many professionals in new roles, ready to be welcomed and engaged. We are eager to connect with them and grow our community.
Leadership development has been busy strategizing new ways to engage our chapter leaders, generate additional revenue, and ensure that those who could benefit from our chapter’s scholarship funds are aware and able to take advantage of them.
Finally, our communications team has been working to streamline our internal processes and lead effective campaigns. We are committed to maintaining a cohesive voice in our chapter’s communications, reaching our audience through a variety of channels.
What we do as a chapter is essential, and we will continue to demonstrate the value of engaging with MPI Michigan to both our members and strategic partners. Here’s to a year of continued success and growth!
Warm regards,
