MPI Kansas City

Meeting Professionals International is the largest meeting and event planner industry association worldwide. Founded in 1981, MPI Kansas City has over 150 members representing planners from the corporate, association, government, religious and non-profit sectors, as well as independent planners and suppliers. Members represent organizations within the greater Kansas City area, as well as affiliate members from various chapters around the country.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT:

When I joined MPI in 2017 I had no idea the journey that laid ahead of me or the impact this organization would have on my life. I have now been a part of the board for 6 years…through the lows of Covid and losing a large portion of our membership, to becoming two time global Rise Award winners, a Chapter of Excellence and providing the best programming and member support a chapter can offer. There has been one thing that has remained constant throughout the whirl wind of the past few years and that is the passion and love our members have for not only our industry, but each other. We have truly built something special here in Kansas City and as we have shared our story, the world has noticed and recognized our work. I feel very fortunate to become President at a time we have built such a strong chapter. Our members and board members I get to work with everyday inspire me and motivate me to be a better person, and I promise to devote this next year to continue to grow our legacy of MPIKC and be the best leader I can for our organization and community. 

I am here for you and I want you to have the best possible experience you can with your membership! So please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all or just want to grab a coffee and get to know each other better. Because when we meet, we change the world!
