Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
MPI is a proud supporter of the Events Industry Council’s Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Program. The CMP credential is recognized globally as the badge of excellence in the meeting, convention, exhibition, and event industry. The qualifications for certification are based on professional experience, education, and a rigorous exam.
Attaining your Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation is a 2-step process that consists of application and examination.
CMP Boot Camp
Need help preparing for the CMP Exam? MPI Indiana Chapter offers an intensive program with an expert facilitator that is designed to benefit both the candidate who needs a last minute push for the exam and someone just starting the process to set a correct study path.
CMP Scholarship
Is the cost of the CMP process not in your budget? Apply for the Jack Langston CMP Scholarship. This annual scholarship can help supplement the cost of study materials, application fees, and/or study group registration.
Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM)
MPI and the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) have partnered with the Darden School of Business to present the Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM). The CMM is an MBA-level executive education program for meeting professionals with more than seven years of experience, including a minimum of three years in management positions. The intensive, three-part executive educational program packs the highlights of a world-class MBA program into a long weekend (3.5 days), followed by eight hours of advanced-level online coursework and a final project focused on solving a real-world business problem.
