Other than improving your Zoom meeting skills, what have you learned (or learned to excel in professionally) since March of 2020?

Assisting clients along with industry partners to execute virtual events and hybrid events as we prepare to return to face to face events.

Who are you outside of work?

Wife and mother of a daughter and three sons.

Name a silver lining in your own work experience since the COVID-19 pandemic began. 

Having more time to enjoy with my family.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment to date?

In my role as an Event Strategist with Maritz Global Events, my client relationships and the daily privilege of consulting with them in sourcing their meetings and events.

What MPI resources have you used to help you cope in 2020?

Friendships and support from fellow MPI members and involvement with the Board and Education committee.  I have enjoyed watching recordings of the chapter’s Weekly Coffee Chats too.  They were held at the same time as a weekly company meeting which has since changed to a different day and I will be happy to more fully engage in the future sessions.

In the last 6 months, have you been impacted by any supply chain shortage when visiting (or ordering on-line) your grocery store? TP doesn’t count!

We luckily haven’t been impacted by supply chain shortage yet.

What is the greatest place you have ever visited?

The Caribbean

I lived in Alexandria, VA and officially began my hospitality career there after graduating from Purdue.
