The MarComm Committee engages with our members through many platforms such as social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter), our website (MPIGNY.org), and our magazine (@MPIGNY). Our goal as a committee is to be a leader in our industry by providing engaging content and to deliver the best experience to our members. If you are a content writer who would like to bring your skills and creativity to our communications, or if you love social media and want to bring your expertise of trends, insights and analytics to our channels, we would love to hear from you!

The Special Events Committee helps connect our members and industry peers through our engaging events: Golf, Fundraising and Networking.
The Golf Outing is one of MPIGNY's signature events and raises money for a variety of chapter programs. The Auction and Mixology event combines comradery and competition as folks bid on auction items and weigh in on the mixology battle. Our Networking events provide fun opportunities to meet, connect and build a network of lasting relationships. In addition our networking team also coordinates several After Six Mix casual meet-ups throughout the year.
Committee members are encouraged to participate in one or more of the events of their choosing. We are looking for people with strong communication skills, a get-it-done attitude and team spirit. Responsibilities include concept creation, venue selection, event planning, solicitation of sponsorships including prizes, entertainment and décor services; and on-site presence at each event for a variety of duties. Committee meetings are virtual and held monthly.
