President's Message

Welcome to the 2023-2024 term of your MPI Dallas/Fort Worth chapter.

Hello MPI DFW! As your new 2023 – 2024 MPI DFW Chapter President, I am humbled by your trust, and I vow to fulfill this responsibility with utmost dedication and integrity.

Before I delve into my vision for our organization's future, allow me to introduce myself briefly. Throughout my 20+ year career, I have worked alongside some of the brightest minds in our industry, tackling complex challenges and driving transformative change. 

As your President, my primary goal is to lead our chapter in fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within our organization. I am committed to fostering an environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and the sharing of diverse perspectives and helping others to understand "You Belong Here" as a part of the MPI family.

In today's rapidly evolving industry, we must stay ahead of the curve and embrace change. I am passionate about leveraging new technologies and strategies to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and create sustainable value for all our members, planners, and suppliers. But how do we achieve this? 

• I intend to spearhead strategic initiatives that position us as industry leaders while remaining true to our core values and mission. 

• We will continue to address the changing needs of our membership. During one of our Emerging Leader events this year, we had a robust round-table discussion about our industry's changing dynamics and demographics. 

• With that in mind, we must be mindful of how we engage with all levels of our current and future membership. 

• This is our opportunity to take a chance at calculated change and a chance to be different. 

• Leverage our resources and technology to help others see why they belong here, which includes expanding our reach by providing engaging educational content and diversity in our programming that is meaningful and impactful for our planners and suppliers.

• Create mutually beneficial relationships with our Strategic Partners (annual and in-kind) to elevate our chapter and ensure we can present some amazing programming, educational events, networking opportunities, CMP course study groups, and so much more with the help of their generosity. All while remaining fiscally responsible. 

I look forward to working with all of you to ensure that our organization continues to thrive and make a positive impact. Whether you are the next rising star, a seasoned industry veteran, or someone transitioning to the events industry, I want to remind you all that "You Belong Here!" as a part of the MPI family.
