Wellness Reset with Rosy Crumpton

In this 90 minute workshop we will focus on how to set realistic and sustainable personalized wellness goals to jumpstart and continue our wellness journey momentum. We will dive into our personal vision for health and wellness and create a realistic plan on how to focus and implement what we want for our health. Discovering personalized ways to support our mental, physical, and emotional wellness brings a host of physical, psychological, and social benefits. Each participant will walk away with their own personal health plan to implement and with practical tools that can help regulate emotions to apply immediately.

Keynote speaker, sales trainer and leadership strategist, Gina Trimarco, presents “Oh Yes You Can!”, her keynote address in which she reveals one simple tool for achieving personal and professional goals by intentionally failing forward, striving through uncontrollable events or just because! Gina is a storyteller, and she will share some of her experiences about how she laughs her way through every trying moment and ultimately lives a better life as a result.

How have labor shortages, inflation, unions, legislation, accessibility and more changed contracts and negotiations in the past couple of years? Lawyers Matt Villmer and Lori Keeton will continue our discussion on drafting contracts and lowering risk and share current examples of contract challenges, setbacks and wins. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions in this interactive session.

Matt Villmer

Matt Villmer is a business and litigation attorney with Villmer Caudill, PLLC.  His legal practice focuses on new business startup, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property protection, contract drafting, and high-conflict litigation. 

Matt educates meeting and event professionals all around the country on best legal practices.  As a 4-time guest speaker at NACE National Conferences, Matt is nationally recognized for his insight and industry-specific knowledge.  Matt began representing events industry businesses in their lawsuits against BP, when he was the first lawyer to file claims against the oil company after the 2010 BP Oil Spill.  Over the last 13 years, Matt has represented hundreds of event industry businesses in their legal matters, including hotels, event venues, planners, caterers and restaurants, DJs, videographers and photographers, officiants, and others. 

In addition to the practice of law, Matt loves to educate other passionate entrepreneurs.  Currently, Matt teaches the “Level Up” business incubation program, sponsored by the Small Business Administration and Southern Piedmont Community College. 

Lori Keeton HeadshotLori Keeton has been practicing law in North Carolina since 1998. She created her own firm in 2017 after practicing for a large regional firm for over 20 years. Lori Keeton Law was created to advocate for all types of municipal employees, with a particular focus on serving and protecting those who serve and protect. Her goal is to be a trusted resource, partner and ally throughout the litigation process.






Rosy CrumptonRosy Crumpton is a firm believer that we have the power to achieve our best health. Through a supportive partnership she helps people set and achieve goals they most want in life to help lead a happy, healthy, and more balanced life.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and 17+ years of professional experience in behavioral healthcare, Rosy is knowledgeable on what it takes to create behavioral change. She was trained at Duke Health and Well-Being, previously known as Duke Integrative Medicine, where she received her Integrative Health Coaching course and Certification, on a whole person care health approach. She is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, a robust certification which represents the profession’s highest standard.

Rosy feels passionate about helping people who could benefit from a little structure and guidance on envisioning and carrying out their personal and professional goals. She has helped people achieve their personal and professional goals, improve nutritional habits, manage stress and anxiety, control blood pressure, reduce stress, build relationships, improve exercise and movement habits, sleep better, identify and practice intentional self-care, and more.

She is a professional writer and speaker who loves to read, cook, and advocate for her community. She lives in Matthews, North Carolina where she spends time with her husband, Brandon, and their cat babies- Amy and Arya.

She brings 25+ years of experience in marketing, sales, business operations and people management to progressive organizations that are ready to go from status quo to status “Let’s Go”.

Gina also founded Carolina Improv Company, an improv comedy theater and sales training company.  In addition, she produces and hosts a sales podcast called the Women Your Mother Warned You About, which is now in its fifth season. 

Gina is a resident of Myrtle Beach, SC and a native Chicagoan who graduated from DePaul University in addition to training at the Second City Conservatory. She has dedicated her career to helping organizations re-humanize relationships and helping people become more agile communicators through the power of improv.

Covid-19 Safety Measures

MPI-CC will still be taking precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at our meetings. We will offer wristbands to indicate comfort level of distance when socializing. We will have hand sanitizer and masks available. We will set some tables and chairs socially distanced apart for those that feel more comfortable in that setting. Please see the Covid-19 waiver that all registrations must agree to in order to attend the event.
