Organising your meetings and events is about much more than getting the logistics right – it's about spreading knowledge, sparking innovation, and building relationships with your members.

From sustainability and technology, to diversity, wellness and everything in between; The Meetings Show’s education programme has been designed to help you and your organisation succeed in this fast-changing world.

Content has been organised across five learning theatres: Industry Trends; My Career and Personal Development; Event Marketing; Event Technology and Meetings Design, so you can find the sessions that are most relevant to you. We’re thrilled to announce that their full programme is now live and with 40 hours of free content and 60 sessions to enjoy, you'll be spoilt for choice!

New for this year is the AMI Summit, which will focus on the future of association meetings and the potential of online communities. Their expert panel will assess whether event experiences still matter or if virtual is now a suitable alternative, whilst also looking at the trends and strategies that have emerged from the pandemic.

Other notable sessions include: ‘5 questions to ask yourself before selecting your community platform’, ‘Weaving sustainability into the life cycle of your event’ and ‘Incorporating listen-only platforms into future event programmes’.

In ‘The power in community: extending the lifecycle of an event’, Neil Thompson will be joined by none other than Facebook's George Gabriel to explore the unique ways to build a community and create engagement within these communities using technology and by thinking out of the box.

Last but not least, of course, is the headline session. This year, The Meetings Show will be joined by Ric Salmon, CEO of Driift and producer of this year's virtual Glastonbury Festival for a Q&A session in which he’ll discuss how he overcame a database malfunction during the show, his 25-year music career and his advice for event professionals.

This year’s show will take place live at ExCeL London and virtually on 30 September – 1 October, we hope to see you there. Register at: www.themeetingsshow.com/register
