How long have you been in the events and hospitality industry?
30 years.

Why did you join MPI?
I joined many years ago in 1996 upon moving to Nashville while I was in the hotel industry. I wanted to meet other hospitality professionals since it was a new city and needed to make work connections and find new friends. And when I took a sabbatical to raise my family, MPI was still there when I returned with old and new faces. These people are like family and they will always be there.

What do you hope to get from your MPI Tennessee membership?
Lifelong friends, networking opportunities and educational opportunities

What is your favorite meeting or event you have been involved in and why?
The MPI Gala at the Opry. It was amazing and cool and so fun to be there and have that experience on the stage.

Tell us more about yourself…hobbies, little known fact, etc.
Scrapbooking. And gardening.

Life long school volunteer and Past PTSO President at Centennial High School.

What would you sing at karaoke night?
Something from Journey.

What makes you laugh the most?
Being with friends at a ladies wine night

Which decade do you love the most and why?
The 80s music from my High school memories
