Girl Power Rocks!
Rashada Campbell is an accomplished operations administrator with extensive experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Rashada is a self-starter with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia. She has a vast understanding of building and maintaining community partnerships, providing administrative support for optimal company effectiveness, and maximizing organizational strategy for reaching goals.
Rashada is currently the Director of Operations for Girl Power Rocks, Inc., in Miami, Florida. She has worked with the organization for over 15 years, starting as a Summer Intern who worked herself up through the ranks. Her experience with and fervor for women’s empowerment and advocacy is evidenced in her experience with this organization. Rashada also inhabits a passion for community service and involvement, which correlates with her core value to serve others.
She currently serves as the Executive Vice-President of Community Engagement for the Black Professionals Network. Also, she is a founding member of the Miami Millennial’s’ Investment Firm, which aims to revitalize urban communities and provide affordable renovated housing to low-income families. She was also an Overtown Common Good Initiative Fellow, volunteered with the Miami Children’s Initiative, and has contributed considerable time to the City of Miami Gardens. Further, Rashada has worked with political campaign teams from the city to state levels, as well as with the Obama re-election campaign. Ultimately, Rashada’s high enthusiasm to maximize the potential of those around her contributes greatly to her overall life goal to help change the world for the better.
