Crisis Management Think Tank

Register today for the January Education Event – the first program for our new “Think Tank” series. The event takes place on Tuesday, January 23, at an exciting new location – C&I Studios Next Door.

The basic steps of effective crisis communications are not difficult, but they require advance work in order to minimize damage. In the event of a crisis, all planners and suppliers should know the answers to some key questions in advance:

• Do you know the steps to handle an onsite emergency?
• Do you have a communication strategy with program stakeholders?
• Do you know that contingency plans are not one-size-fits all?

If your organization does not have an up-to-date crisis management plan, this is a must-attend learning engagement.
Monica Compton, CMP, Pinnacle Productions, advises: “Reducing panic and containing liability are two crucial goals of a strong risk management plan. The plan should include a communication strategy, both for handling media relations and reaching meeting stakeholders.”

Join us on Tuesday, January 23 from 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM to hear from subject matter expert, Renee Radabaugh, CMP, President and Managing Director of Paragon Events. Renee will provide a general overview of best practices to be followed by discussion groups.
