Dear MPI Members & Friends:
We know this has been an incredibly trying time for our industry as we deal with changes and await answers.
We’ve had to weigh many factors in our decision-making during the past few days but at the forefront we have tried, above all, to keep our members’ best interests at heart. After much consideration amongst our Board of Directors, the venue, and keynote speaker we regret to announce the cancellation of our Professional Development event on March 17. We do believe this is a wonderful topic and plan to reschedule the program for a later date.
The COIVD-19 situation is an ever-changing one. At this time, we are making plans to hold our future events through the remainder of the calendar year, as our commitment to gathering as a community is an important one. The health and well-being of our members is always paramount so we will continue to take direction from the appropriate governing agencies as it relates to Mass Gatherings (CA Public Health Guidance) and will communicate any updates about our events accordingly.
