Chapter Meeting
DAY/DATE:
Tuesday, September 28, 2021
PRESENTER:
Scott Hughes
Chief of Police and National Law Enforcement Instructor, SKCC LTD
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Effective communication skills in the workplace are crucial to career success and go beyond being able to speak or write well. Being tuned into someone's nonverbal communication cues can help you determine what is truly being said beyond just the words being spoken.
The ability to read people can strengthen relationships, improve sales and assist in negotiations. By interpreting body language accurately, it can help you determine who best to hire, fire or partner with.
This program will examine how police officers utilize body language to detect deception, build rapport, and establish trust and how to use this information to your personal and career advantage.
