ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Session 1: Great Things Happen Every Day
Presented by: Phil Barth
On August 5, 2015 I took a surprise visit to the cardiac wing of Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.
I suffered what was labeled a "small" heart attack. I remember thinking "if this is small I'd hate to see medium."
Per the advice of my Doctor I changed my diet, started exercising more and decided to work on controlling stress.
This program is about stress control. For the past four years I have written a daily list: Great things that happened today. Each day I celebrate the great things that happened. Since I started this journey I've met some fascinating people, discovered new recipes and celebrated life. And I've laughed a lot. If you attend this program you will too.
I even wrote a book on the subject - it's an International Best Sort of Seller (it went to #1 on free books when I released it... that's sort of a sale).
My goal is to share the celebration with you and start a "Great Things" movement.
In This Session You Will:
• Learn what really makes your day great
• Get a quick three-minute trick that will give you up to a 54% better chance of having a great day
• Learn how to shut out the social media noise, without having to swear off social media entirely
• Pick up as many as ten little “life hacks” that will lower your stress and make life more fun
• Laugh. A lot. I promise.
Session 2: Smash the Box
Presented by: Chad Willet
Meeting professionals will "Smash the Box" by thinking different, acting different, and developing a creative mindset! Individuals who "Smash the Box" generate game changing ideas that gives them a creative advantage over their competition. Game changing ideas, unplanned collaboration, and creative mindset lie outside the box. Meeting planners are you ready to take thinking outside the box to the next level?
Takeaways:
• Culture of Innovation - Create a "Yes And" culture at the workplace (In Person/ Virtual) where judgment is suspended, all voices are heard, and teamwork is front and center
• Idea Generation - Generate game changing ideas in your areas of expertise (i.e. planning/ hosting) which gives you an advantage over your competition
• Execution - Develop a creative plan to put these ideas into tangible and practical actions
• Innovation - Adopt a "Fail Fast" mentality which allows individuals to experiment and explore in their respected industry which are the cornerstones of the creative process
