Who are the most important people in your life? The most important people are my family and friends

Who do you work for and what is your role?  Firstly, I am a student at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) majoring in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management with a General Business Minor. I am also a Culinary Intern in the Teaching Kitchen at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) as well as a Catering Intern with the BGSU Catering. In the Teaching Kitchen, I help with prep work and clean up for classes in addition to assisting the chef/teacher who leads the class. For my practicum this semester, I am working in the sales office for BGSU Catering and assisting with front-of-the-house duties as needed.

What is the best thing about your job?  With catering, I enjoy seeing the preparation that goes into creating the menu as well as working with the client to create it. In the Teaching Kitchen, I love working with the chefs and dietician and watching them share their passion about food with everyone in class.

What are the 3 most important skills you use at work? Communication, teamwork, problem-solving

What one piece of advice would you give to someone beginning their career in the Meeting Industry?  Being open-minded and hardworking will help in a variety of situations both in and out of this industry. That being said, I am new to this industry and would greatly appreciate advice from anyone reading this!

What super-power would you love to have to help you do your job better? Teleportation would be my super-power. It would help me travel to places quicker, allowing me to meet with more people/have more time with clients before needing to be elsewhere.
