Who are the most important people in your life?   My husband of nearly 8 years, my almost 4 year old daughter Isabella and 1 year old daughter Mackenzie are the most important people in my life. I left my full-time job in 2015 to work part time and be at home with my little ones. I will never get this time back and I am grateful I have the best of both worlds when it comes to work life balance.

Who do you work for and what is your role?  Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau on the Eastside of Cincinnati as a Sales manager

What is the best thing about your job?   I have been in the hospitality industry since I graduated college from Xavier in 2004 and have worked at two different attractions. I met many people along the way and formed many relationships. What I love about being at the CVB it gives me a chance to sell the entire region and not just one attraction.

What are the 3 most important skills you use at work?  1. Customer service skills  2.Time management skills  3.Knowledge of the area (my product)

What one piece of advice would you give to someone beginning their career in the Meeting Industry?   Do not be afraid to learn or to make mistakes. It only makes you better at what you do. Also, constantly network because it always pays off. Relationships are key to being successful in this industry. 

What super-power would you love to have to help you do your job better?  Telepathy- if I could read each of my clients’ minds I would know exactly what they wanted before they told me, there would be no “assuming” and I could connect with them like no one else.
