Site visits are an important component of any event for both the planner and the hotelier. For hoteliers, they are the perfect opportunity to showcase your facility, close a sale, and build relationships. For the planner, a good site visit helps you visualize your event in the space, assess site strengths and weaknesses, and provides valuable information for logistical planning. Are you getting the most out of your site visits? Are you experiencing love at first site?

This session will explore site visits from the planner and hotelier’s perspective. We’ll review the types of questions planners should ask, provide a sample inspection checklist, and share some cool tech tools to help along the way. Hotels get an inside look at what planners are looking for, and at, and creative ideas on ways to make your property or team stand out.

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe what meeting professionals look for when conducting a site visit
  • List three ways to customize a site visit
  • Identify key areas to evaluate during a site visit
  • Evaluate technology tools to help collect data during a site visit

Venue tours will be available after the program.

This program is pending approval for 1.00 clock hour.
