I am from Santa Fe, NM. I have lived and worked on 3 different continents and have chosen to return home to help in developing aspects of my home community.
Where do you work, and what’s your title? How long have you worked there?
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. The Blake is the lodging property for the resort. I am the Group Sales Manager and have been with TSVI for 2 years.
How long have you been a member of MPI?
I have been a member of MPI for about a year now.
Why MPI? What does your membership mean to you?
I have found MPI to be a great way to network with my colleagues. It has also laid a comfortable platform for supplier/planner discussions.
Tell us about your passions; in and out of the office.
I was fortunate to have been raised by parents who’s passion is travel ‐ it has been a part of my life from when I can remember. Engaging with communities both domestic and international has become my driving passion both personally and professionally.
I love seeking and developing ways to engage youth with outdoor through education and doing what I can to assist in awareness of sustainably responsible lifestyles.
Is there anything special about yourself you wish other members knew about you?
I am an engineer by trade and have partaken in a number of ventures aimed to disrupt various industries’ “standards”.
Have you done anything exciting or out‐of‐the box lately?
I was recently in Nepal trekking for 4 weeks ‐ we peaked out just over 18,000 feet.
What inspires you?
People and movements that challenge the status quo.
Why do you think others should be a part of MPI New Mexico?
I think others should join MPI New Mexico because it is an opportunity to develop professional and personal relationships. The educational seminars provided by MPI New Mexico are extremely beneficial for both suppliers and planners.
