An inquiry into sustainable leadership and the notions of power, authority and having influence. This presentation will help participants consolidate both their management and leadership roles and recognize how they can increase their credibility and visibility in their organization.
Specific objectives:
Founder of the KSears Institute Inc. (1994). Ms Sears develops sustainable leadership, creativity and innovation in organizations. She is a professional CHRP member and has served on the board of directors of CAPS-Montreal.
Kathleen is a speaker, business coach and corporate trainer and has worked across North America, Mexico and Africa. Ms Sears has been a Senior Human Resources Advisor, Project Manager, Supervisor and HR Consultant. In October 2018, she spoke to twelve commonwealth countries at a McGill/CPA partnership event. In 2014, she was invited to speak on the Complexity of Authentic Leadership at the ILA convention. In 2009, she participated in a humanitarian aid effort in Tanzania, Africa with the Dentists without Borders organization.

Darren Temple is Chief Operations Officer for MPI, where he is responsible for driving global strategy and execution, operational excellence, revenue growth and the MPI brand around the world. In this role, he oversees the Global Sales Organization as well as the Education, Events and Marketing. Darren also leads the MPI Foundation as Executive Vice President, Ex Officio. He joined the MPI Global Team in September 2014 and previously served as Chief Business Development Officer.
