Scholarship = Success

This year I was awarded a scholarship to pay for my annual membership dues. As a self-employed planner, I am financially responsible for my own professional development so this was a significant help. I believe education and continuous learning is essential to our growth. MPI plays a significant role in my knowledge of and participation in our meetings industry. 

As Immediate Past President, I spent the last three years working with our Board of Directors. I see what our chapter does for our members and was blessed with the opportunity to serve. Without the generosity of our chapter to pay my membership dues, I would not be able to participate in our chapter’s education, networking or volunteer leadership. I have received far more than I’ve given. The education our chapter and global provides is necessary to stay up-to-date on what’s going on in our industry. With deep gratitude, I thank our chapter for offering scholarships to its members.
