Tell us about your business and your current job.
I am Global Sales Director for Hyatt Sales Force and I service 85 customers for Hyatt in the Midwest region, many of who are MPI MN Chapter members.
What do you hope to gain from your MPI Membership?
With my MPI membership, I hope to gain education, connections and FUN!
If there was only one thing a potential customer could remember about your company, what would that be?
That we at Hyatt deeply care for our people so they can be their best.
What one piece of advice would you give to a new supplier joining the MPI network?
Attend meetings and get involved in a committee-- that is how you meet people and build long lasting relationships.
What has been the best piece of advice you have been given, and how has it made a difference in your life - personally or professionally?
There have been a few:
* Keep your head down and work hard. Hard work beats talent, so if you’re lacking in a certain area…bust your tail.
* Keep a level head and perspective. You attract more bees with honey. Most problems are more easily worked through with calm integrity than a hot head.
* And my favorite: No more than two drinks at a work or industry event. You don’t want to be the last one in the room dancing on tables.
What are some of your favorite pastime activities?
Cooking, running, hanging out with my daughter and husband, traveling and home renovation projects.
