How long have you been in the meetings/hospitality industry?About 10 years.
How did you decide to get involved in this business?What influenced you?
My love for travel generated a career path into the travel industry. I started in accounting, but transitioned into group travel where I got the opportunity to specialize in meetings and incentives - in destinations around the world!
What’s the most valuable advice you’ve received about working with meetings?
Document everything.
What is one piece of advice about meeting planning you would share?
Attend to those details – all of them.
What is one thing about this industry that you love?
People and places. I can’t pick one over the other.
What is one thing about the industry would you like to see changed?
Perhaps more partnerships with our peers.
What do you do outside of work?
Spend time with family and travel. Love when I can do both at the same time!
