MPI MN Supplier Profile: Erika Boike

This month MPI Minnesota Chapter profiles Supplier Erika Boike, corporate sales manager for Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West.

Tell us about your business and your current job.
I get the great opportunity of representing the hotel in the Corporate Group Market segment.  I work with companies that have meeting needs along with (10) or more sleeping rooms.   

What do you hope to gain from your MPI Membership?
I have not been an active member for quite some time, so I am looking forward to getting involved with a committee or two.

If there was only one thing a potential customer could remember about your company, what would that be?
We have a great team of seasoned vets on hand to help make working with us a very easy experience.

What one piece of advice would you give to a new supplier joining the MPI network?
Get involved!

What has been the best piece of advice you have been given, and how has it made a difference in your life - personally or professionally?
Everything happens for a reason.

What are some of your favorite pastime activities?
Cheering on my children at their sporting events and the lifelong friendships I have made through my children’s activities.
