MPI MN President's January 2021 Message

Happy Holidays and Farewell to 2020!

I hope this message finds you well and that you were able to celebrate the holidays with friends and family by zoom or social distancing.

At the beginning of 2020, we started the year with strong momentum and growth both here at home and globally.  

We have experienced challenges before that have taken a strong hit to our industry and have weathered the storm after 9/11 and the recession.

We have experienced loss in 2020. Loss to long time members, loss of family and friends, and countless jobs lost due to the virus.

We have had to navigate technology, home offices, home schooling, and face the restrictions in our communities to keep us and those who may have pre-existing conditions safe.

As we look forward to 2021 and vaccines being approved, we see hope for the future.  We are anxious to meet, celebrate, and get back on the road to do business in person.  Zoom and all technology platforms have been critical, but there is no replacement for face-to-face interaction.

Our Chapter will continue to be flexible and ready to modify our offering to members as circumstances unfold.  We will continue the Coffee Chats and add some virtual networking.

We are looking for volunteers and I would love to connect and help you find what may be a good fit or a task or position that may help grow you in your career.  Reach out to me!
