MPI MN Leaders of the Month

Our committee volunteers help shape our organization because of the contribution of their time and talents. During select months throughout the year, the board members recognize outstanding achievements by nominating active volunteer committee members they wish to honor for their contributions to the MN MPI Chapter.

There were two Leader of the Month volunteers recognized at the March monthly meeting.

Rania Hammad is the HMCC, director of National Accounts for Loews Minneapolis Hotel and iConnect chairwoman and Rene Reckinger is the sales manager for DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington – Minneapolis South and iConnect vice chairwoman.

Reasons for nomination

These two ladies did a phenomenal job through the entire process of planning, organizing and creating iConnect 2019.  They had great educational tracts and tried some unique things with the event to make it more successful.  We had a great showing at the event and I think it was the highest attended event of the year.  Kudos to these two leaders for making iConnect 2019 a success for our members.

Additional criteria about Rania:

Raina Hammad

She and the team she put together are hugely responsible for the overwhelming success of the conference. She took on the huge role of Chair and was an absolute all-star at planning and operating the 2019 iConnect Conference.
She coordinated tasks such as finding volunteers, leading planning committees, key-contact with the venue, on-site day of logistics, and finding speakers just to name a few.

She did a great addition to the iConnect committee and did a stellar job learning all

Rene Reckinger

the details about iConnect in a short period of time!

Her attention to details and organization skills are what helped set the committee a part.

She was willing to take on responsibilities when other volunteers couldn’t fulfill their commitments.

She is a great leader and communicator and did a wonderful job of sharing all our meeting details/minutes to everyone one on time.
