MPI MN Leader of the Month: Emily VanLith

Our committee volunteers help shape our organization because of the contribution of their time and talents. During select months throughout the year, our board members recognize outstanding achievements by nominating active volunteer committee members they wish to honor for their contributions to the MN MPI Chapter.

Our Leader of the Month recognized at the January meeting was Emily VanLith the Marketing and Events Coordinator at Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities. She was nominated by Betsy Walsh, HMCC; Sales Manager at Minneapolis Marriott West and Courtyard Marriott West who said the following about her:

Emily was the Chair for the Holiday Party in December and was instrumental in the success of the Holiday Party. Emily was very focused on detail for this party and had a tremendous working relationship with the venue, décor and entertainment. She worked well with her colleagues Chelsea Swanson and Savannah Fargen to put on a great event in December. Along with her attention to detail, she also kept costs to a minimum within a tight budget. Her leadership skills, along with the strong communication skills demonstrated are a strong asset to our chapter.
