Fun fact: I got my job with Meet Minneapolis through connections that I made with MPI. That was 5 ½ years ago and I couldn’t be happier!Initially, I loved volunteering because it allowed me to truly immerse myself in MPI and make connections with other members. Most recently, and mainly due to my involvement in the Board of Directors, volunteering has allowed me to grow professionally. Because I work with associations, as a supplier, I now see things from the perspective of the clients that I work with. I’m able to relate to my client on a different level because I have been where they are.
