Theme: Gratitude

As I was shopping this past weekend, I couldn’t help but lose myself in the section with all the inspirational and motivational signs.  One in particular, caught my eye – a simple statement that we  have all heard before….

“Start Each Day with a Grateful Heart”

Simple words, but great impact.  Perhaps it’s because I am overdosing on Holiday movies on the Hallmark Channel, HOWEVER, I can’t help but feeling grateful at this time of year.   I am grateful for all the people I have met through MPI.  I have made amazing friends that I will always treasure.  These connections did not happen by accident, rather we connected through volunteering on a committee or saying “hey, let’s chair an event together.”  I would like to name all the names here but you don’t need to read a novel today! 

Lastly, I am grateful to all the members of our chapter.  Because of you, I am so extremely proud to say I serve as your President and get to work with your amazing Board of Directors.   I am grateful to all the volunteers within our chapter.  Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, in our chapter happens without volunteer support.  We are who we are because of you.  If you want to get involved but not certain about serving on a committee – check out the Job/Volunteer Posting board.  We have our current needs for volunteer positions (and if nothing is there – don’t fret more will be added shortly.)

With a grateful heart – I wish each and every one of you a blessed holiday season.  Enjoy a moment to embrace the spirit of the season and share some laughter with friends.
