February Letter from the President

As I write this month’s message the planning team is hard at work putting the finishing touches on iConnect 2019. This all-day educational event will be held at the Hilton Minneapolis Hotel on February 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be plenty of opportunities to hear from industry experts as they share information on topics including:

• Medical Meetings: Trends and Changes Affecting our Industry

• A Changing Data Landscape: GDPR for Event Planning

• Innovations in Event Technology

• The Future of Meetings & Events

• Making Work Relationship Work

• Sustainable Event Design

For those working on certifications you will be happy to hear that all sessions have been approved for EIC hours.

In addition to the numerous educational opportunities, there will also be time to connect suppliers and planners through coffee chats. During this time, Suppliers will be able to schedule one-on-one appointments with planners. Watch for additional details on this process as we approach the event date.
