Jamie Beyer is in her 9th year as an Associate Teaching Professor for the Event Management Program in the Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Department at Iowa State University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Iowa State University. Jamie has professional experience working in conference management, sports and recreation, wedding planning, and non-profit events. She currently teaches courses in Event Production, Wedding Planning, Introduction to Event Management, and Sports Event Management. Jamie’s special interests within the event industry focus on event design as well as creating inclusive elements for the special needs community. In her spare time, Jamie loves to cheer on the Cyclones, volunteer with Miracle League, and spend time with her husband and two children.
