See It, Say It! Human Trafficking Awareness

The trafficking of women and children occurs in and around the world. Are you aware of this growing problem as it relates to the use of hotels by criminals for this activity? Does your company have a policy against human trafficking? Would you be interested in learning how you can actively participate in fighting this growing crime?

MPI Global and the MPI Anti-Human Trafficking Committee are committed to raising awareness within the MPI Chapters of this global issue. Join us in supporting this important and meaningful topic and MPI initiative.

Our speaker for this topic will be the Greater New Orleans Human Trafficking Task Force, whose primary goal is to collaborate in sharing and disseminating information, contacts and protocols related to the existence, prevention, and response to human trafficking in the Greater New Orleans Area.

In support of this cause, MPI members and guests are encouraged to bring much needed donations to assist in the care of victims of human trafficking – current donation needs are for adult underwear of all sizes, sensitive skins soaps and lotions, towels and sheets in various sizes, and new shoes and slippers.
