With the meetings / hospitality industry virtually at a standstill, and many MPI members losing their jobs, a lot of us are wondering what’s next, let alone how to pay our bills.
SPEAKER
Dawn Rasmussen, long-time MPI member and professional resume writer, will lead this session on the power of LinkedIn for building up your networking efforts. She will provide meaty insights on how to update your profile and how to use LinkedIn to make connections, as well as alternative job directions for industry people at a loss of where to start. This is one session you won’t want to miss!

Education Presentation: 12:30-1:30pm
This program is pre-approved for a one hour education credit through the Events Industry Council (EIC).

MPI Gulf States understands that we are all in various financial situations during this time, so this month’s education program will be offered on a “pay what you can” basis. Suggested donation for MPI Members is $15, for non-MPI member it is $20. For those that are able to pay the suggested amount, you will be entered into a drawing to win a “Drink & Learn Virtual Happy Hour” with author and historian Elizabeth Pearce valued at $350. The lucky winner will be announced following the education program.

A virtual happy hour conducted by Elizabeth Pearce combining engaging history and a cocktail demo for one classic drink.
