Who do you work for and what is your position in the company?

Ralph Brennan Catering and Events, Director of Sales

How long have you been in the hospitality industry?

Started World's Fair in 1982. during the planning phase. In 1987, started in the hotel industry at the Sheraton hotel Was there for 11 % years before being recruited by House of Blues as Director of Event Sales, Lead HOB sales team for 12 years, then re-opened the Civic Theatre as General Manager before joining the Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group 2 years ago,

What is your favorite part about your job?

Making people happy. It is tremendously rewarding, to leave an event with the client commenting that we have made that day special for them! Our clients allow us to handle the most important occasions Of their lives and it is especially important to us that we get it right!

What are some of your favorite restaurants in the city?

I am fortunate to work within such an excellent restaurant group; Ralph's on the Park has always been one of my favorites. and Brennann’s is such a special place. I love Peche, Shaya, Doris Metropolitan, to name a few outside of the Ralph Brennan group.

What are your favorite things to do on the weekend?

Watch football, go out to dinner, cook and hang out with family. As a NOWFE board member, food and wine are big parts of my life!

Since 2000, when I started at House of Blues.
