Who do you work for and what is your position in the company?

I work as a Group Sales Manager at Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant I also moonlight as a Banquet Manager. Marketing Coordinator. and Beer Connoisseur.

How long have you been in the hospitality industry?

After college, I got a job working as a Sales Manager at Mangnuson Grand Hotel & Conference Center. I went on to work as an Area Sales Coordinator at a third party management company in the New Orleans. I'm going roughly 8 years in this industry and loving it!

What is your favorite part about your job?

I absolutely love being involved in the community. I get to interact with many different personalities all day long. I love the challenge of planning. coordinating. and executing an event with someone who is across the country. Never a dull day!

What are your favorite things to do on the weekend?

My absolute favorite thing to do is go out on the riverl I also love going on adventures around the city. trying out all the new attractions. restaurants. bars. and festivals. There is always something going on! I go out of town often on weekend getaways to either the beach or somewhere I have never been. I rarer sit still on the weekends!

What are some of your favorite restaurants in the city?

Willa Jean, Lebanon's Cafe, Jacques Imo's, and Gordon Biersch of course.

Do you have any pets?

I have 1 dog, a pitbull named Camrie. I also attempt to house several neighborhood cats, but have been unsuccessful in my attempts.

How long have you been with MPI?
