Diversity Task Force

The newly formed Diversity Task Force has started taking shape and our immediate initiative is conducting an assessment for the chapter.  We need to know where we are in terms of diversity before we can successfully develop a strategic plan for where we need to go as a chapter.

Mission Statement for the Diversity Task Force- 
To bring awareness to diversity with an intentional focus on exposing opportunities while enhancing diverse representation within the chapter. 

The co-chairs are currently enlisting task force members who will lead the charge on obtaining our goals and objectives. 

Initial goals:

• Actively engage our diverse members within the chapter by improving awareness, encouraging participation, and broadening our outreach.
• Ensure diverse experiences through all chapter events with a continued communication platform that is reflective of our members and industry community.
• Implement a structure for qualified diverse suppliers and organizations to receive accessibility to opportunities within our chapter.

We are looking forward to changing the fabric of our chapter!
