Join us Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the soon to open Epicurean Hotel, Atlanta's food focused hotel. We will start the day with Networking, The Exchange and then engage in a star-studded panel discussing Food and Wine trends with new ways to WOW your clients and guests and how to navigate F&B in the pandemic and beyond.

Tom Haines is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a 30-year hotel veteran. Tom got his start in the Mainsail family at Epicurean Hotel as a General Manager. Previously he worked with Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando as the Executive Assistant Manager and had a 20-year stint with Hyatt Hotels, starting with the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.

Charlie Albanos joins Mainsail after an impressive 30-year career with Marriott International where he began his career as a Chef. As his career progressed through several hotels and cities, he transitioned to F&B Director and later to Resident Manager. Mainsail Lodging & Development is the managing company for the Epicurean Hotel.

Mark Klein is a seasoned hospitality professional and industry expert who brings nearly three decades of direct luxury hotel and food and beverage experience to Delaware North Sportservice at Truist Park. Mark joined the team in Atlanta in September of 2019 on a corporate initiated familiarization/development plan and spent the winter months preparing for the 2020 opening of the park. Mark rejoined our team on March 10, in the capacity of Director of Food and Beverage, responsible for all premium areas, restaurants and catering operations.
 
Mark came to Delaware North from Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa having spent five years at the resort in the capacity of Executive Director of Event Management and Operations, and in May of 2018, he was named General Manager of the Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond oceanfront resort.
  
Prior to joining Eau Palm Beach, Mr. Klein served for more tan 20 years ss Director of Conference Services and Catering at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.
 
A native of Troy, NY, in his spare time Mr. Klein enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, traveling, and coaching and umpiring youth baseball.

CE Credit:

You will be eligible for one CE credit by attending this program. 

Parking: 
There is a choice for Valet or Self-Parking and the rate is $18 for either one.

Valet: enter through the main drive and enter the hotel valet area that is located outside of the hotel entrance. At registration, you will be given a voucher for our rate and then pay the valet when you leave.

Self-Parking: The parking garage entrance is on 13th St., just past the hotel. Turn right on 13th St. and garage entrance is on the right. When you leave you will pay with a credit card at the kiosk. Take the garage elevator down to the main level.

Early Registration Fees (Early Bird Registration closes September 1, 2021 at 5:00 PM) :
Early Bird MPI Georgia Member - $45
Early Bird MPI Georgia Non Member - $70

Registration Fees (September 1 at 5:00 PM to September 16th at 5:00 PM):
MPI Georgia Member - $55
MPI Georgia Non Member - $80


Student Rates:

MPI Georgia Student Member - $20
MPI Georgia Student Non Member - $30

Online registration will close at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Please register before this time to ensure that we have space for you!

Onsite Fees:
Please note that MPI Georgia charges an additional $5 onsite fee for any registrations completed after the close of online pre-registration for the event.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your registration a full refund will be granted if cancellation is received in writing before 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 16. After that time there will be no refunds. Please send cancellation notice to info@mpigeorgia.org. Additionally, registration fees may not be applied or transferred to future events.

Substitutions:

If you have registered but are unable to attend the meeting, you may substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge. Please send written notification of this change before 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 16 to info@mpigeorgia.org. After that time, substitutions will need to be made onsite.
