We wrapped up the 2020 Tech Summit & Phoenix Awards on June 23 and send our venue sponsor, Computer Museum of America, a big Thank You for being our gracious host. We had over 100 attendees visit and engage in our Virtual Platform, Hopin, provided by our In-Kind Sponsor, Active Production & Design. We gained outstanding education and insight during our Speaker Sessions: Corey Perlman with Impact Social Media discussed how to create content to keep attendees engaged at live and/or virtual events by using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other social media apps. Sean Specie from Elevate Experiences spoke to us on how to convert from a live and in-person conference, convention, workshop or event and turn it digital without losing the audience’s attention, engagement or that fun experience; and last but not least, Lara Kogni from RevLocal presented an in-depth discussion on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) focusing on the broader picture of how to increase a business's online presence both organically and through paid avenues including the use of social media, blogs and other technology-based methodsThank you to all of our visitors to joined us in the Expo Room to see and engage live with amazing Virtual Tech Playground Participants.

Although we are disappointed that we can not bring you Tech Summit as a live event this year, we are excited to showcase all that a virtual event can offer. The 2020 Tech Summit event has been rescheduled as a virtual event for June 23, 2020. That's right, you can participate from the comfort of your own home and still learn from our amazing speakers, engage with our awesome sponsors, and network with all of our wonderful event attendees.
The theme this year is InTECHgration. We will have three keynote speakers discussing how to increase your online presence with the integration of technology and social media to enhance your exposure and grow revenue.
As an added bonus, we are integrating the Phoenix Awards with Tech Summit. So throughout the afternoon, we will also be announcing the winners of this year's awards.
After the presentations, you'll have the opportunity to visit with each other as well as our sponsors during the virtual Networking Happy Hour. And if you register by June 12th, you'll received a Welcome Bag delivered to your home, valued at a minimum of $30.00.

Tech Talk #2 SEO, what? Lara Kongi RevLocal |
|||||
Lara presents an in-depth discussion on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) focusing on the broader picture of how to increase a business's online presence both organically and through paid avenues including the use of social media, blogs and other technology based methods. Lara Kongi, is Regional Sales Manager in Atlanta, Georgia and responsible for the growth and development of the Southeast. She was born in Upstate New York on a dairy farm but has lived all along the east coast. Yes, that means she knows how to milk a cow, bail hay and how to drive a stick shift. While growing up the middle child of five children the household was very active in sports. Since sports were such a major portion of her life, she naturally developed the passion to compete, work with a team and the will to succeed. Upon finishing her collegiate career as a two-sport Division I athlete it became very clear how a professional career in marketing and advertising would make an excellent fit. Since then she has always worked her way from a consultant position into a leadership and a sales management role. Along with that path she has had the opportunity to work hands-on with hundreds of business owners and helping them to navigate the digital marketing world and showing them how they can succeed and reach their greatest potential. When she is not working with a consultant or speaking to a client she spends time working out, traveling to a new destination, eating any cuisine but American, watching a sporting event, or the newest action movie at theaters with her other half. Lara attended University of Maryland Baltimore County but transferred and graduated from the University of North Georgia and resides in the heart of Atlanta with her husband. |
