There are so many people to thank for their contributions in making the 13th Annual Fall Classic Golf and Bocce Tournament a smashing success. We would be remiss not to start with Jekyll Island – our official weather sponsor. Maria Trammell said to expect mostly sunny skies… well, the fall colors and warm temperature was amazing. Her special mojo and sunny personality carried onto the bocce courts, too. The “Weather Makers” took first place. Congrats to Jayne Tannenbaum, Peter Schmidt, and Maria. Team Silence led by captain Jonathan Colon along with Nate Davis, Christopher Martin, and Simon Rimmer were the runner-ups in the bocce tournament. However, there is contention as to the point structure because the team from Silence Activations remained undefeated through six games.

The winning team on the golf course posted a score of 62. Dan Freedland, Marty Bleifeld, Wes Morton, and Jason Ressman of the Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter definitely won due to their refined putting. They attribute their success to Devon of Photosynthesis Studios whose friendly encouragement cheered them on. Who claimed second place with 63 strokes? That would be Pam Shepherd, Ashley Condon, Eric Miller, and Ryan Dunn representing the Global Event Team.

The Fall Classic committee is thrilled to announce that we raised over $7,600 to benefit future educational programs and the member assistance program. We will let you know when the full photo album is posted. A huge thank you to all of our sponsors that made the event possible. We thank you for supporting this event and being such an integral part of the MPI Georgia community.

Golf Tournament

The Fall Classic offers a lot more than just a round of golf, and this is the 13^th year MPI Georgia is holding this popular event. We are excited to return to Country Club of the South, a Club Corp property in Johns Creek. There are many social activities to accommodate all levels of participation.

Bocce Tournament

For those not athletically inclined, consider partaking in the Bocce Ball Tournament. If you are not familiar with the world's easiest lawn game, check out the brief instructional video. Bocce is described as a combination of skee-ball, bowling, and shuffle board.

Silent Auction

The Virtual Silent Auction is now open. Be a part of the AUCTION ACTION and join on your phone or computer. You don’t want to miss all of the exciting gifts, trips, and experiences. The Fall Classic was the top chapter fundraising event last year. Why should I participate?

A unique, casual, and fun opportunity to network with fellow members, entertain clients, and meet potential new clients outside of an office setting. Plus, it’s a great gathering of meeting professionals for a day of friendly competition while enjoying the outdoors.

Can I attend the reception only?

Yes, we encourage members to come in the afternoon to check out the action and cheer on competitors. There will be plenty of silent auction items, great music, and ample time to visit with event sponsors, chapter members, and guests.

Regular Registration (October 16, 2021 - October 29, 2021):

Reception Only	$60

*The Awards Reception is included in Golf and Bocce registration
** We will be accepting onsite registration the morning of the event at an additional cost

Reminder: Planners can register at no charge as an Individual Golfer, Individual Bocce player or for the reception using promo code PLANNER.

Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your registration a full refund will be granted if cancellation is received in writing before 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 28. After that time there will be no refunds. Please send cancellation notice to info@mpigeorgia.org. Additionally, registration fees may not be applied or transferred to future events.

Substitutions:
If you have registered but are unable to attend the meeting, you may substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge. Please send written notification of this change before 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 28 to info@mpigeorgia.org. After that time, substitutions will need to be made onsite and a name badge will not be guaranteed.
