The 2019 Phoenix Awards Honors the Chapter’s Membership!

The 2019 Phoenix Awards: “Made for WOW” – will be celebrating this year’s MPI Georgia Showstoppers! This annual awards gala recognizes our chapter’s volunteer members and sponsors as well as the overall successes of another great year. Through the amazing support of our sponsors, the Phoenix Awards will be held at the World of Coca-Cola, 121 Baker Street, NW, Atlanta, GA.

For more than 12 years, the MPI Georgia Chapter has been honoring the chapter’s volunteers, members and sponsors who have contributed to the success of the chapter and advancement of our industry on a local, national and an international level. The Phoenix Awards are held annually after an extensive nomination and selection process.

MPI Georgia will present the following awards on June 20th:

• Rising Star of the Year: Awarded to a new member who has made the most notable contribution of volunteer time to our chapter.
• Planner Member of the Year: Awarded to a Planner member who has impacted our chapter through their unwavering service and commitment.
• Supplier Member of the Year: Awarded to a Supplier member who has impacted our chapter through their unwavering service and commitment.
• Innovative Concept Award: This award is for a concept that has impacted our chapter through creativity or innovation.
• Committee of the Year: Awarded to the MPI Georgia volunteer committee that provided a significant impact and valuable contribution to our chapter during the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
• Sponsor Impact Award: Awarded to a sponsoring company that uses innovation and creativity to impact the membership and showcase their company.
• Chapter Leader of the Year: Awarded to the member who has served in a leadership role and whose work has made considerable contribution to the growth of our chapter.
• President’s Award: Awarded to a member who has illustrated support and dedication to the MPI Georgia president and the chapter.
• The Lorraine Powell Membership Award: The Lorraine Powell Membership Award will be given to an MPI Georgia member that has been instrumental to the involvement and interaction of a new member to the chapter over the past year.
• Hayward C. Cox, Jr., CMP Continuing Quality Award:
  Awarded to a long-standing member who has committed at least five years of service to our association and has made substantial contributions to the chapter.
• Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award:
  Awarded to a long-standing member who has committed at least a decade of service to our association. This member strives to make our industry a strong force of education and personal achievement.

There will be NO onsite registration at the 2019 Phoenix Awards.

Why should I attend?
This special evening provides you with the opportunity to network with meeting industry professionals and celebrate the success of the chapter’s year in one of the most-anticipated events of the season; not to mention, it’s one of the most popular and most fun events to date!

MPI Georgia Chapter Attendance Policy: 
All Essential Level members or non-members are limited to no more than two events in one fiscal year and must pay the Essential Level/Non-member rate. MPI Preferred or Premier Level members are welcome to attend all chapter events at the Member Price.

Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your registration a full refund will be granted if cancellation is received in writing before 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 13. After that time there will be no refunds. Please send cancellation notice to info@mpigeorgia.org. Additionally, registration fees may not be applied or transferred to future events.

Substitutions:
If you have registered but are unable to attend the meeting, you may substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge. Please send written notification of this change before 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 13 to info@mpigeorgia.org. After that time, substitutions will need to be made onsite.
