Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau Launches Star-Studded
Welcome Video for Super Bowl LIII
Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) created a celebrity-packed video welcoming visitors to the city for Super Bowl LIII. The one-minute reel features 19 notable Atlantans from an array of backgrounds including music, sports, television and business encouraging viewers to discover Atlanta.
“Atlanta is a city that celebrates diversity, and we’re thrilled to work with many of the people who make this city special as we welcome visitors for this landmark event,” said William Pate, president and CEO, ACVB. “We are excited to show every guest who visits for Super Bowl LIII the passion, pride and love we have for Atlanta.”
The celebrities represented highlight Atlanta’s diversity, culture and spirit, capturing a glimmer of why each individual calls Atlanta home. They inspire guests to go out and explore everything that makes Atlanta the capital of the South.
"I continue to call Atlanta home because there's no place like it on earth to me,” said Big Boi, rapper, OutKast. “I've been all around the world and to be in a city where you have trees and people speak to you when you walk down the street … that’s Southern hospitality you don't get everywhere.”
“I love Atlanta because there's a little bit of everything,” said Fredricka Whitfield, anchor, CNN Newsroom. “You can relax or find excitement while meeting eclectic people from all over the world.”

ACVB’s welcome video was hosted on social media platforms, and Atlanta Channel also broadcasted the video in hotel rooms across metro Atlanta. Atlanta hosted Super Bowl LIII marking the third time in 25 years the city hosted the marquee event.
