Please help us extend a warm MPI Georgia welcome to Brittany Combs, Group Sales Manager for Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta. When Brittany became a part of her Hyatt team, she was appointed the MPI membership representative in March 2022. As Group Sales Manager, she is responsible for selling the hotel, from meetings to private events to guestrooms, and scheduling tours and walk-throughs for potential clients. Brittany’s market includes everything from Corporate and Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal groups (otherwise known as SMERF) to Associations and Pharma. The only exception to her work is that she does not book entertainment or business travel. Instead, Brittany works directly with clients or third-party agencies to offer the best rates and space available. Brittany’s first dive into the meeting industry occurred as a Catering Coordinator for The Westin. “The team there was amazing. They motivated me, taught me everything about the industry, and allowed me the opportunity for growth and to excel in my next endeavors.”
Brittany is a self-proclaimed adventure seeker and adrenaline junkie. She loves to travel and ride roller coasters until her heart is content. In college, Brittany attended an adventure program where participants could go camping, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and more. While browsing through the activities, she came across a skydiving trip during the weekend of her 19th birthday, and she immediately signed up. “I remember being the last to jump out of the plane and was nervous but excited. It was one of the most exhilarating and scary things I have done thus far!”
Winning a $10 million lottery jackpot would be a blessing to Brittany. She went to school for Fashion Design, and it is her dream to open her own co-op store and studio full-time. $10M would provide the capital needed to take the next step in making BMC Designs LLC full-time. And in all realms of her life, Brittany’s mother has been a constant supporter. From cutting and sewing fabric for her fashion business, selling her designs at markets, and driving down to Atlanta to visit with her daughter, her mom has always been there for Brittany. So much so that she is planning a mother/daughter trip to Italy this year. “I want to be able to thank her and show how much I love and appreciate her with this once-in-a-lifetime vacation!”
