A warm welcome to Steven Eisenstein who joined the chapter last spring. Having previously worked in the catering business, Steven left in 2010 and moved into the rental business with Classic Tents & Events, after striking a deal with a woman who owned the company for 10 years and was looking for a successful an exit strategy. In September, the company added a restaurant side of the business offering both frame tents and pole tents to all sorts of markets including festivals, movie productions, corporate events, nonprofits, schools, retail, sporting events, and concerts. And did you know they provide ovens, fryers, fridges, freezers, hot boxes, and many more unique rental equipment?
Steven joined MPI for networking with others that are in the hospitality arena and for the comradery of the organization. He first learned of the group when he graduated from college and worked at the Cobb Galleria Convention Center. He has been in the special events industry since 1994 having spent many years in hotel catering sales. Steven even met his wife while working at Starwood, and today they have 3 children – boy girl twins that are 10 and an 8-year-old daughter. The coolest thing Steven has been working on lately is Super Bowl events. His companies also work with several TV productions and motion pictures every year and have lots of exciting events we can’t talk about due to non-disclosure agreements.
