MPI Georgia connection? I first learned about MPI Georgia through my first internship in political fundraising. Although the fundraising portion was not for me my boss was very supportive and helped me learn more about the events industry.  During that time he allowed me to plan a lot of the fundraisers.

How did you get into the hospitality industry?  I started off planning events for a political fundraising firm then went and did a Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in Florida. This is where I gained my passion for hospitality and people.

What's one of your most unique personal or work accomplishments?  If you have both a personal and a professional accomplishment you want to share please do!  I am going to go with personal.  In college I desperately wanted to study abroad but wasn’t sure how to afford it. I learned that my university had a few scholarships available and I was able to fully fund a 6 month program through the scholarships. I was so nervous the night before I left I almost didn’t go, but I am so glad I did. I got to experience and see so much of Europe, and made friendships for life. I even visited Disneyland Paris!
